Snow?

The word is that 1-3 inches of snow is expected tonight. We’ll have to see what happens. The anticipation is the hardest part. When Jasmine was younger, she used to go nuts in snow, but she is 14 now, so her reactions are much calmer now. 🌨

Feels more wintry outside.

The leaves are pretty much gone. The flowers are done.  We have had some frosty days, so that pretty much did in the flowers. Last night and today, we had a wind advisory.  So loud and strong.  The wind was making the house creak, at times. 29-30mph with gusts into the 40s.  Crazy!  Just makes me thankful for my cozy house.

Sarah got a free turkey from her employer, Exact Sciences.  The kids made a lovely Thanksgiving feast on Thursday afternoon.  It was so delicious when I got home from work on Thanksgiving day!

Before Thanksgiving, Emily roasted a chicken and then made chicken stock.  She turned that into a minestrone soup and then made blueberry muffins to go with it.  We are well into comfort-soup season now.

Also, we have had some pretty sunsets in the last few days!  This was one we saw as we were driving to Sheboygan Falls on Saturday, for the Christmas parade.  We were heading west on Hwy PP, near the Kohler Company.
