No more snow
It’s been in the 40’s the last couple of days, even at night, so the packed-down snow and ice on the driveway? Gone. All the snow in the yard? Gone. All the snow weighing down the bushes? Gone. The only snow that’s left, is the stuff lining the driveway, where it got piled up, when Gary snow-blew the driveway. The yard is sooo soggy now, though. It’s all so wet outside, since everything just melted.
At school, we kept the kindergarteners on the blacktop, but there were so many puddles, they got wet anyway. It seemed there was nothing we could really do about it.
My 14yo daughter is disappointed that it’s so warm and that the snow is gone. She and her sister got scarves for St. Nick’s from Grandma and currently it’s too warm to use them. Bummer.
Since I’m the one who takes the dog out, I’m not minding the weather that much. I hope it doesn’t last too much longer, though, because my bulbs will start growing and they can’t yet. I paid good money for Dutch Bulbs and I don’t want them wrecked.

Well, no snow here, but it is a LOT warmer. It’s in the 70’s and my husband is wearing shorts and a short sleeve t-shirt! Not very Christmas-like at all.
We had a bit of rain too, and the backyard is a mudslide where the very hyper dog likes to run and SLIDE in the mud. He’s a handful to clean up after going out for potty breaks. Too much mud!
Hope you’re having a good day.. Merry Christmas!

Hi Dawn,
Oh no, your bulbs….
I am learning how to do all this! It’s awfully
warm and sunny here in Los Angeles too.
YUCK!!
The blog looks great!
