It’s -9 F., with a -23 F. windchill. Damn it’s cold out there, and I still have to go out with the dog. Thankfully, not too many times today. I probably just need to go out once more, before we can call it a night. I have thin cotton pants on, with sweatpants over the top. It keeps my legs warmer outside, and in the house. I hate wearing layers, but I have to.
I took a nap this afternoon and slept too long, so the chili didn’t get made. We ended up going out to Pizza Hut for supper. I figured that even if I just went out for something and brought it home, it would get sooo cold in the car, that it would be better to just eat it, at the restaurant. We had nicest young man, for a waiter, too. I gave him a nice tip.
Local schools are closing already for tomorrow. Of course, our school system, isn’t on the list yet. Wouldn’t it be nice to know, before we all go to bed tonight. I suppose it’s not going to happen. I just checked. For Sheboygan county, it’s only Random Lake schools, so far. Milwaukee Public Schools, are waiting until tomorrow to make a decision. I suppose Sheboygan will, too! Darn it. I could sleep an hour later, if I knew, before I went to bed, because I wouldn’t have to get the kids up. I still have to go out, because I work in the morning, at the clinic.
