Wisdom Teeth
Sarah, 17, had her wisdom teeth out today. She was pretty dopey and pretty numb, when she came home, but gradually got better, throughout the day. Emily helped her get food and got her her ice pack, and even went out and got some fresh basil, from the garden, for Sarah’s tomato soup! I had to work today, so I couldn’t do this stuff.
Sarah looked much better, when I got home from work. I could tell she wasn’t sedated anymore! She was bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. So far, Advil has been enough, for the pain.

Yeah, I’m glad she’s doing so well! I had mine out years ago, and from what I remember and have seen more recently with nieces and nephews, it seems REALLY important to keep the ice on there the first 24 hours. It seems to really help. My second day was the worst, but I hope she’s feeling tons better today. Take care
