Here’s my October KAL cloth, after Day 5′s rows! I know now, that it’s a fireman’s helmet and axe, and it’s actually upside-down! LOL! I’ll get it the right way, after I finish Day 6 and get it off the needles! I can see the fireman’s helmet, even upside-down, now that I know!   I think Emily and I should give these to two women we know, who have husbands who used to be firemen!Â
These are for some lucky people, a few months into the future. I don’t want to say yet, who they are for, though! LOL! Christmas isn’t that far away! They are certain colors for who the people are and what they like, though! I have to make 5 total and just started the 3rd one! I’m having a blast! The ballband is an easy pattern and they are going together quickly! For the two after the one I’m working on, one will be in Green Bay Packer colors of green and yellow and the last one will be black for the mortar and a hot pink/hot orange variegated for the bricks. The one I’m making now, I decided to just make as one color yarn and it’s varied between tan and white.

Hi Dawn! All of your projects look really great!
Just wanted to stop in and say “hi” and thank you for entering my contest a couple of weeks ago! Hope to see you in Ravelry soon (I’m 3minions).
I was just looking at google to see if here was anyone else using the name lakebreeze which is the name of our family homescool. I find your site very interesting. I knit too, I just finished some very plain washcloths with a verigated blue cotton. And am now working on some tube socks. I used to watch my mother knit for her doll collection and for my children and have always enjoyed knitting and crocheting. more on the name…There was a small section of Salt Lake City Utah between the town and the airport that was called lake breeze, it was dotted with old houses with pretty old fashioned yards, lots of lilac and tulips, and a bit away from the other westside neighborhood that I grew up in. Its not there anymore because of airport expansion years ago,so now its a romanticized memory for me and the name lives on for me. So I just tought I’d share that. I am actually in Nephi Utah 80 miles south of Salt Lake. I live in a craftsman bungalow stlye home from the turn of the century. We are a large family, I am married to Verne, we have had 8 children, I have 4 other children from my first marriage. 7 are still home the older two are back and forth trying thier wings. Life is busy but I try to slip in a little fun online. It was good seeing someone elses knitting. I hope to try something bigger like a sweater for my 4 yr old.daughter. Well best wishes.
Very nice site you,re very creative.. and thanks for sharing… Chris Hosie
