Mid-Feb 08 KAL – Finders Keepers

mid-feb08-kal.jpg
This was designed by Susan Schaefer of Harvest Moon Designs. It was a fun knit. I loved working with 2 colors and how the pink made little windows, for the green to show through.

Here’s a close-up of the stitch detail.

I used Sugar’n Cream rose pink and dark pine, with US6 needles.

About Dawn

I like to play the piano, read, knit, and play with my dog. I'm looking forward to warmer temperatures and flowers blooming, since spring is on the way!

76 inches of snow so far….I’m so jealous!!!! You ARE playing in it, right?

Great job on the cloth. Looks a bit like my childhood bedroom carpet (wink)

I haven’t had time to do this one yet, but it’s on the list.

Very pretty! BTW, nice photography work, especially the closeup. Your edges look nice and straight. My one side came out kind of lumpy.

Your cloth came out great. I haven’t started mine yet, I’ve been stuck on the socks. But I still don’t like this sock so far, so i am ready to do something else for awhile.

I wonder what colors I still have in my stash…???

Your cloth looks a lot like mine only I went for the hot pink since I used my rose on the Valentines Candy Box. It reminds me of rows of flowers. I wonder why the name is Finders Keepers. I am going to try this one out as a “leftover yarn” cloth. I think it will be cute in more than two colors and you will be able to use tinier bits of yarn than you can use with Ballband

I really like the colors you chose for your Feb mid-month cloth
Very pretty!!! I did mine in Navy and Burgandy
