Wow, I have been such a horrible blogger and then as it went on and on and on, I knew it would be a big job, so I put it off even longer! We are going from meals in the crockpot to meals on the grill. Also, from winter jackets to shorts! In June, my younger daughter Emily graduated from high school. We had a fun family party and a beautiful day, for the most part. Weather is a factor, since Sheboygan tries to hold their graduation outside! We did get sprinkled on a little bit, but never for longer than 5-10 minutes at a time! I’m so happy that both of my daughters got to graduate in the “bowl” by Lake Michigan!

I’ve been busy knitting, though, in the past 6 months! All the pictures are in the gallery above. Will still post pics of Emily’s graduation, too. Weather has been hot and rainy most of the summer. It’s mid-July and the grass is still green and soft enough for barefeet!

My profile needs more stuff in it. I have to rephotograph some of my dishcloths, because the pictures are so dark. I need to take pictures of my yarn, too! So much to do! LOL!

Tonight is our knit-night and I hope the weather holds out for us to go. We have the potential for storms and are under a tornado watch. I suppose we should eat supper so we can leave soon. I can tell the sun is no longer shining, so suspect it’s getting cloudy again. The sun was shining, when I came home from work, shortly after 5pm.

It won’t be long now! I can’t wait! Currently on my needles is a baby hat! I had a few problems with row 10, but it was because the whole pattern hadn’t printed, when I printed it, since it got cut off. With a new printout and the entire pattern at my disposal, it’s going much better. This is for someone in my knitting group who is taking hats for orphan’s in Mexico!

The new KAL starts Tuesday and I can’t wait for that. Emily and I got some Stripes yarn, from Janet, in the Yahoo group and we are both going to use that, for the KAL. Thanks, Janet!

Here’s my October KAL cloth, after Day 5′s rows! I know now, that it’s a fireman’s helmet and axe, and it’s actually upside-down! LOL! I’ll get it the right way, after I finish Day 6 and get it off the needles! I can see the fireman’s helmet, even upside-down, now that I know!   I think Emily and I should give these to two women we know, who have husbands who used to be firemen!Â

These are for some lucky people, a few months into the future. I don’t want to say yet, who they are for, though! LOL! Christmas isn’t that far away! They are certain colors for who the people are and what they like, though! I have to make 5 total and just started the 3rd one! I’m having a blast! The ballband is an easy pattern and they are going together quickly! For the two after the one I’m working on, one will be in Green Bay Packer colors of green and yellow and the last one will be black for the mortar and a hot pink/hot orange variegated for the bricks. The one I’m making now, I decided to just make as one color yarn and it’s varied between tan and white.

I still have no idea what the picture is! One part looks like an arrow or ace of spades, but I don’t know if that is what it is supposed to be. I’m eagerly awaiting today’s rows, so I can continue on! The dishcloth is on short needles, because one day when I wanted needles, that was all I could find, in the size that I needed. It’s less stress on my arms, to knit with the shorter needles.

My ravelry number is getting smaller everyday! Yay!

Sarah: 7734

Me:Â 8024

We had a beautiful day today, with temps in the 70′s, sunshine and no humidity!
