For others, it is the time to share in fellowship and love because we are celebrating the Risen Christ! Easter is the victory over death and surprise at seeing the stone rolled away and an empty grave! Those women who went to attend the body sure must have been surprised when they found an empty tomb! I love going to church on Easter Sunday because there is much joy, praise and thanksgiving going on! After all the somber weeks of Lent, the cheerful songs and a church filled with flowers fills me with joy!
