The year is flying by and it's November already! That means Thanksgiving is near. It is a time to think about all the stuff we should be thankful for and take time to appreciate it. I have many things to be thankful for. Here is my list!

My loving family
My healthy kids
Good health
A nice warm roof over my head
A nice big yard to play in
A nice warm comfortable bed to sleep in
A safe place to live
Good food to eat
Clean water to drink
Lots of friends

Cranberry Sauce

1 cup (200g) sugar
1 cup (225ml) water
1 12 oz bag fresh or frozen cranberries
Mix sugar and water in a saucepan. Stir to dissolve sugar. Bring to boil, add cranberries, return to boil, reduce heat. Boil gently for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cool completely at room temperature and refrigerate.
Makes about 2-1/4 cups.
